Design Intern
July 2023– Present

  • Redesigned the company's benefits guide, aligning it seamlessly with the established branding, resulting in a visually cohesive and user-friendly employee resource.
  • Created digital guides to be highlighted on main product walls; sourcing imagery, creating a visual hierarchy, and incorporating established brand language throughout.
  • Created wireframes and designed multiple web pages, including the password reset pages, product wall pages, and style guides.
  • Designed a standard internal PowerPoint theme and template, incorporating brand language and allowing internal users to create cohesive and professional presentations.

Apparel Design Intern
June 2022– August 2022

  • Implemented designated design projects, transforming conceptual designs into technical flat sketches. Selected fabrics, trims, and stitching details to align with the lead designer's vision.
  • Developed and executed thorough tech-packs, incorporating precise measurements and detailed fabric-sourcing information to enhance the efficiency of the design-to-production process.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Production team during prototype fittings, recording fit comments, and communicating with manufacturers to implement modifications.
  • Conduct market research to inform design decisions, curating inspiration boards aligned with forecasted trends for upcoming seasons (6-9 months prior) in the women’s apparel industry.

Wholesale and Marketing Intern

  • Provide direct support to the Head of Sales and Marketing, taking the lead in customer outreach, coordinating appointment schedules, and processing sales orders.
  • Conduct in-depth research on customers' brand identities and target markets to create customized line sheets showcasing the latest styles.
  • Consistently refresh content on online wholesale platforms, introducing new styles with information such as clothing descriptions, fabric details, and shipping information to maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date digital presence.
